Cuando llega el calor lo asociamos con playa y un éstilo de vida diferente ,con muchas más horas de luz,playa, un sinfín de
actividades al exterior y esas meriendas al aire libre.
Hoy os traígo una de estas cocas tan típicas nuestras menorquinas pero esta vez con un agradable aroma a buñuelo y a la vez a coca
de azúcar de aquellas que nuestras abuelas nos hacían,su sabor recuerda el antaño y el verano y su calidez invita a saborearla con un buenvasito de horchata o chocolate.
Recuperar,saborear y transmitir aquellos recuerdos que nos hacen viajar con un simple bocado de un antaño al lugar del ahora
con unos ingredientes sencillos y de los de siempre.
INGREDIENTES:
600 grs. de harina.
2 huevos.
200 grs. de azúcar.
75 grs. de manteca de cerdo.
250 grs. de patata.
75 grs. de levadura de panadero.
PREPARACIÓN:
Hervir las patatas sin piel y unas vez hayan enfriado chafarlas con un tenedor.
Añadir el azúcar a las patatas para que así no se formen grumos.
En un bol pondremos la harina,la manteca,los huevos batidos,la levadura derritida en un poco de agua de hervir las patatas y las
patatas chafadas con el azúcar.
Vamos amasando todos los ingredientes hasta que consigamos una masa bien elástica y uniforme.
Siempre ha de quedar la masa bastante untuosa y por ello debemos ponernos aceite en las manos para su fácil manejo e
incorporarla dentro de nuestro molde de horno.
La dejamos levar hasta que doble su volúmen.
Cubrimos la masa con azucar y un poquito de aceite de girasol.
Horneamos entre 35 mts. a 40 mts dependienddo del horno a 180ºC.
